How many courses are there at Oasis Golf Club?
Two courses are located on-site at Oasis Golf Club. The Palmer course starts adjacent to the clubhouse and is entirely located on the west section of the property. The Canyons course is a combination of the original Vistas 9 built in 1995 (back 9) and the Arroyo 9 built in 2005 (front 9).
What is the original course?
The Palmer course is the original course, which was designed in 1995 by Mr. Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay. Originally, the course was named the Oasis and was built specifically for Si Redd, who privately owned and operated the facility.
What is the difference between the Palmer and Canyons courses?
The Canyons course is rated harder than the Palmer course due primarily to the length and slope of greens. The Palmer course is a little more photogenic than the Canyons due to the elevation changes from tee to green. Overall, the greens on the Palmer are considerably smaller than greens on the Canyons.
Are rental sets available?
Yes, Srixon/Cleveland rental sets are available in men’s right and left handed as well as women’s right handed. Please call ahead to reserve rental sets as they are limited on a daily basis. Cost for daily rental set is $75. Twilight rental is $50.
Credit card/Drivers license will be held during duration of rental period.
Can I keep my clubs overnight if I’m playing both courses consecutively?
Yes, there is no overnight storage fee to keep clubs on-site.
What is the Oasis Golf Club dress code?
Both on the courses and on the range, Oasis doesn’t allow denim of any kind. Clothing worn by guests should be consistent with current proper golf attire. Acceptable golf shirts should have a collar, crew neck or mock turtleneck that clearly differentiates from a t-shirt. Metal spikes, halter-tops, or gym shorts are not allowed.
Can groups play as fivesomes?
Players are discouraged from playing more than 4 players in a group and will be told by the shop staff if they are caught playing a fivesome by a course marshal, they will be split into two groups. The only exception is if your group is the last tee time out for the day.
Does Oasis have locker rooms and showers available?
Oasis does have small locker rooms for both men and women with limited showers. Please make considerations in advance if you would like to utilize the locker room facilities. Towels and shower accessories are available.
